
I found this video on Metacafe. It shows us that laptop locks' weakest link isn't necessarily the lock, but the cable itself. Don't believe the marketing brochure, buy one yourself and try the resiliency of the lock AND the cable.
This video shows how unsafe your notebook or laptop is when you are using the Kensignton MicroSaver Lock to secure it. I used a "copper wire cutter" to cut through the "aircraft grade braided steel cable". Do NOT use this lock to "secure" your notebook anywhere. Anyone with a stainless steel scissors could easily cut the cable.
