The dangers of social networking and some countermeasures

Social media has a lot of benefits but also has some drawback like privacyissues. Too many websites allow full access to information by default and a lot of users are not aware of the dangers.

Tom of Spylogic.net made a very interesting presentation on 5 threats and 5 ways to use them safely. It's worth reading or showing to your friends or family.

This reminds me of the teacher that asked me for information on how to teach her class on computer security. That post and feedback from others gave some other good resources.
